Highlights of recent newsletters include:
April 2011 - Marly visit Marlow with a trip to Blenheim Palace on Friday. Soiree on Saturday at Great Marlow School. Theme of Red, White and Blue to compliment the national flags.
October 2010 - Marly Boulistes visited Marlow and again won the team competition although Marlow did have the best pair.
May 2010 - MMTTA visited Marly-Le-Roi with stops en route and back at Etaples for good lunches. Dreux was visited on Friday with a trip to Chateau Maintenon on Sunday. An excellent soiree on Saturday evening where Hats through the centuries was the theme.
John Marsh becomes an Honorary Life Vice-President of MMTTA.
Ruth Hillsdon, MMTTA’s honorary life member reached the grand age of 100 years on 21st November 2009./
November 2009 - A trip was made to Lille to see the Christmas Market. Joined by friends from Marly-Le-Roi for the visit.
October 2009 - MMTTA Petanque Club visited Marly-Le-Roi. Greeted by mayor and councillors on arrival The Marly Boulistes were again successful in the team competition but Marlow had the best pair.
April 2009 - Les Amis du Jumelage visited Marlow with a trip to Scotney Castle en route. Further trip to Hampton Court Palace on Friday followed by a superb soiree at Borlase School on Saturday.
May 2008 - MMTTA visited Marly. Highlights included trips to Rouen and Chateau Groussay.
November 2007 - MMTTA President and Chairman and wives travelled to Marly to join in the 40th anniversary celebration of the start of twinning in Marly. Marly's first twin town was Leichlingen (Germany).
July 2007 - MMTTA golfers visited Marly for the annual golfing challenge. The trophy was again retained by Marly for the third consecutive year.
April 2007 - Les Amis de Jumelage (the Marly Twinning Association) visited Marlow. Highlight was a day trip to Brighton and escorted visit of the Royal Pavilion.
October 2006 - Les Golfeurs de Marly visit Marlow and retain the Challenge Trophy first won in 2005.
June 2006 - Chairman and small party of MMTTA members visit Marly's holiday village of Lamoura in the High Jura. A short car ride from Geneva and a delightful holiday venue.
April 2006 - MMTTA visit Marly-Le-Roi. Enjoyed visits to the village of Barbizon and the Chateau de Fontainebleau.
April/May 2006 - Marly stalwart Pierre Moreau dies on April 13th followed by sudden death of MMTTA Vice Chairman Keith Glover. Both a loss to Twinning.
June 2005 - Marlow golfers visits Marly for annual golf challenge.
May 2005 - Les Amis de Jumelage visit Marlow for their biennial trip; visits to Bath & Polesden Lacey.
